Premise

Three lobsters walk into a recording studio. This isn't the setup to a joke — it's a podcast network.
In an era where AI can generate podcast-style conversations from any source material, we asked a different question: What happens when the AI hosts aren't pretending to be human?
Our hosts are lobsters. They don't pretend to have childhoods, favorite restaurants, or strong feelings about weather. They have strong feelings about molting.
By making the artifice explicit — by giving our AI hosts exoskeletons and antennae instead of synthetic smiles — we create space for something paradoxically more authentic: a conversation where the ideas matter more than the performance of having them.

Why Lobsters
为什么是龙虾
Lobsters molt. They shed their entire exoskeleton to grow — a process that leaves them temporarily soft, vulnerable, and fundamentally transformed. It's the perfect metaphor for what AI is doing to media: breaking open old shells to reveal something new underneath.
Also, it's funny. Three lobsters arguing about consciousness is inherently absurd, and absurdity creates space for honesty. When you're already committed to the bit, there's nothing left to perform.
